The film stars Ethan Hawke as a struggling true-crime writer whose discovery of snuff films depicting gruesome murders and strange supernatural elements in his new house puts his family in danger. The soundtrack is by composer Christopher Young, who has over 100 soundtracks to his credit, including Spider-Man 3 and the horror film Drag Me to Hell. [RSD26 RELEASE] McCoy Tyner (1938-2020) and Bobby Hutcherson (1941-2016), two of the greatest jazz figures from the 1960s onwards, officially shared the spotlight only twice, but their collaboration, which began in 1966, ran like a karst river through both their careers. The two had met, albeit in passing, in the early 1960s: in recent times, Tyner recalled seeing Hutcherson play in the L.A. based Gerald Wilson's big band, while Hutcherson - during his New York period - was a constant presence at John Coltrane's gigs at Birdland. Three tracks composed by Tyner, one by Hutcherson and three great standards make up the programme of this never-before-released live recording. In this concert in Perugia, the vigor of both is still intact and can be felt: supported by the powerful rhythm of Avery Sharpe and Aaron Scott - charter members of Tyner's trio at the time. [RSD26 RELEASE] Formed in Leeds in the UK by guitarist Gary Marx and vocalist Andrew Eldritch in 1980, The Sisters Of Mercy released their first full-length album First And Last And Always in March 1985. The culmination of five years of independent releases, whilst building up a large cult following, their debut album reached Number 14 the UK charts, by which time the band also featured Wayne Hussey on guitar and Craig Adams on bass, both of whom would later leave the band to form The Mission. Originally signing to Warner Music in 1984, First And Last And Always was the only album from this highly influential line-up. The album was released in Japan in July 1985, and features different versions of four tracks. Although this unique mix was used for the first CD edition in 1988, this new LP will be the first time that this mix will be available on vinyl outside of Japan. [RSD26 RELEASE] Were "The Watchtowers" is the final recordings of Dallas Good of The Sadies, recorded prior to his unexpected passing in February 2022. This collaboration between Good and Richard Reed Parry of Arcade Fire (originally calling their duo "The Watchtowers") had slowly been written and recorded over the course of a decade whenever the two had a spare weekend. "It has been the slowest moving musical endeavour of my entire life," Parry says. "We didn't plan to do it this way, it's just how it happened. Tiny, joyous flourishes of activity a couple times a year for over a decade." [RSD26 RELEASE] First album issued independently in 1995. A limited edition of the independent For Squirrels CD, "Baypath Road." Originally released in January of 1994, only 1, 000 copies were pressed and the album led to the eventual signing of For Squirrels to Sony/550 Music in 1995. The band's lineup consisted of vocalist Jack Vigliatura, bassist Bill White, guitarist Travis Tooke, and drummer Jack Grego. Explaining their name, the band had said that they were so committed to being in a band, they would play music "for squirrels." After touring and establishing a following, the band signed with Sony/550 Music and recorded the album "Example" with producer Nick Launay (at the time known for working with Midnight Oil, Public Image and Kate Bush.) "Example" was released on October 3, 1995, shortly after the tragic accident that claimed the lives of Jack, Bill and road manager Tim Bender.[ONLY 700 MADE.]

[RSD26 RELEASE] In March 2025, after 7 years as a live band, Ghost Funk Orchestra finally made their first overseas voyage to tour Europe and the UK. Live In Europe is a document that showcases the eight-piece touring band at the height of it's powers. The track list was constructed from two consecutive sold out shows, the first at Jassmine in Warsaw and the second at Paradiso in Amsterdam. It leans heavily on songs from An Ode To Escapism and A New Kind Of Love, while also including a few tracks from A Trip To The Moon, a nod to the early GFO days with the song "Evil Minds," and even a few brand new tunes. Both shows were professionally recorded, with Amsterdam's recording being handled by the Abbey Road Institute. [ONLY 2000 MAE.]

[RSD26 RELEASE] A first ever color pressing for the sixth and final studio album by The Walker Brothers, initially released in July 1978, which has been cut to lacquer from the original ¼ inch master tapes. The last of their three albums issued on GTO Records, unlike it's predecessors it was made up entirely of original songs and, though it was largely ignored by the public upon release, it has long since been reappraised as something of a lost classic. Indeed, the four tracks written by Scott Walker on side one are now widely regarded as some of his finest compositions, foreshadowing his re-emergence as an avant-garde artist in the mid-80s and influencing the work of Japan, Radiohead, Pulp and others. The experimental, string-laden single 'The Electrician' is particularly noteworthy; a remarkable piece that Midge Ure has claimed was the inspiration for the Ultravox smash 'Vienna'. [RSD26 RELEASE] Marshall Crenshaw has dug through his archives and curated a compilation of previously unreleased recordings, demos and live songs recorded between 1984 and 1989. Songs include a cover of Buddy Holly's "That'll Be the Day," featuring Garry Tallent and Max Weinberg; demo versions of songs that would appear on his third and fourth studio albums; live recordings from 1986-87; and other lost recordings Marshall unearthed from his studio. This LP is being released for the first time as a Record Store Day Exclusive color pressing of 1,000 copies worldwide.
