We have been searching for who we are as artists for a long time. For the first time, we feel like we have found what we want to say and what we want to sound like. It's not about chasing charts; for us it's about being happy, non-conforming and being proud of the music we make. Instead of hiring session players, we used our touring band and that made this record sound one-of-a-kind and more fun to play live as a unit. The record is loosely arranged in the concept of honoring the artists who came before us. They recorded with limited instruments and didn't use modern sounds or bells and whistles. It's the most raw and real sound we could bring - with no edits. Charlie played all of the acoustic guitar parts, Gary did the same with the electric and the same for the rest of the band.
