It also marked the midpoint of Widespread Panic's legendary Sit n' Ski Tour, a 20-date trek across the Rockies where both fans and band skied during the day and jammed at night. Vail 1996 is a rowdy and playful show, giving the listener a glimpse into the intimate, laid-back, and (mostly) acoustic vibe of the tour.
